Pumpkin Bash

On October 28th and 29th, Fiji held its annual Pumpkin Bash, a philanthropy designed to raise money for our national philanthropy, The Red Cross.
This year, under the direction of Noe Flores, our Philanthropy Chair, the event spanned two days. On the first, we invited the sororities on campus to participate in a pumpkin based relay race held in the Dells.
On the second day, we hosted our traditional "bashing" event. All of campus was invited over to the house where they could purchase a pumpkin to carve and smash. Pumpkin pie and hot apple cider was provided, plus several pies baked by the sororities.
Overall we had a great turn out, which allowed us to contribute a sizable donation to the Red Cross. Special thanks to all those who helped with the event.
A New Cabinet Elect

Last weekend, November 1st, the men of Phi Gamma Delta held cabinet elections. There are five cabinet positions: President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary and Historian. This year we had a remarkable number of nominations, many of which were Juniors. In fact, for the first time in a long time, Juniors will hold a majority of the cabinet positions.
With that I present to you the new Cabinet Elect for the Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta:
President - Avery Archer
Treasurer - Bryan Edwards
Recording Secretary - Matthew Howes
Correspondence Secretary - Matthew Cecil
Historian - Martin Hughes
For the remainder of the semester, the current cabinet will begin the transition process, slowly deferring responsibility to the cabinet elect, so that, by the end, the new cabinet will be ready to lead us into the new year.
